Hyderabad, April 16 : State Loksatta Party President Katari Srinivasa Rao informed that the Loksatta is fielding candidates for 118 Assembly seats -73 in Andhra Pradesh and 45 in Telangana -and one Lok Sabha seat (Malkajgiri) in Telangana.
He also released the second list of candidates for the Assembly from Andhra Pradesh. The candidates are: M Anil – Visakhapatnam East; Reddi Lakshmu Naidu -Chipurupalli; A. Suresh -Nuzvid; G Srinadh -Gudivada; M. Nagaraju -Pamarru; V. Srinivas – Repalle; B. Mahendra Reddy -Kandukur; V. D. Rama Naidu -Nellore City; P. Pushpalatha -Kovur; K. Puttaiah -Sarvepalli; P. Sekhar Chowdary -Venkatagiri; M. Ankaiah Choudary -Udayagiri; G. Satishkumar Reddy – Kavali; Jayakumar -Chittoor; Parthsarathi -Srikalahasti; K. Omkar – Kurnool; S. K. Ismail -Anantapur Urban; Saraswatamma -Dharmavaram; Nagendra -Singanamala; B. Babu -Raidurg; K. Ramamohan -Guntakal; Gampa Tirupati -Kadapa; Suryanarayana -Proddutur and Chandrasekhar Yadav -Rajampet.
Katari said that 50 percent of the candidates named today are BCs, SCs and minorities.
The party also announced a nine-member campaign committee with Allu Siva Ramesh Reddy as Convener for Andhra Pradesh. Its members are D Vishnu Murthy, N Venugopal, Chennupati Wazir, Dr K Pattabhiramaiah, Narra Sridhar, T. R. Jagannadha Reddy, Dr. K. Kondiah, and S. Janakirama Raju. INN
