Jeevita, Rajasekhar joins BJP

Hyderabad, March 10 : The actor couple – Jeevita and Rajasekhara joined the Bharatiya Janata Party here on Monday.

Jeevita-Rajasekhara is the first star couple which joined the BJP before the ensuing general elections. They joined the party in the presence of State BJP President G Kishan Reddy at the party headquarters at Nampally. Welcoming them into the party, Kishan Reddy appealed to other celeberities to join and strengthen the party for the next elections.

Speaking on the occasion Jeevita and Rajasekhara said that they were influenced with the policies of BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. They did not specify whether or not they would contest the next elections.

It may be mentioned that the star couple had earlier met BJP National President Rajnath Singh.  INN
