Hyderabad, Feb 24 : TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday expressed confidence that the Telugu Desam Party would form government in both the states of Telangana and residual Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the meeting of Seemandhra leaders at NTR Trust Bhavan here, Naidu said that only TDP could develop the residual State and had a clear vision on the building the new capital. He reminded that it was TDP which developed Andhra Pradesh by introducing the Vision 2020 document. He ridiculed the claims of YSR Congress Party on the development of Seemandhra region. Naidu also predicted that the TRS would merge with the Congress party before elections. He said that the Congress party created rift among the Telugu people to prevent its extinction from Andhra Pradesh. The TDP chief asked KCR to explain his contribution in the development of Hyderabad. He also condemned caretaker Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s efforts to launch a new party. He asked Kiran to explain what he did for the people’s welfare during his regime which entitles him to launch a new party.
