Congress did injustice to Seemandhra people: Venkaiah Naidu

Hyderabad, Feb 23 : BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday accused the Congress party of doing injustice to the people of Seemandhra region.

Addressing a press conference here, Venkaiah Naidu alleged that the Congress party kept the Seemandhra people and its leaders in dark about the process of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. He said that the Congress leaders from the region lacked transparency and knowledge at the time of bifurcation.

However, Venkaiah Naidu stated that the BJP has kept its word by supporting the Telangana Bill in both the House of Parliament. He said that now the people of both the States should focus on the development.

The BJP leader also asked the people of Seemandhra living in Hyderabad not to fear anything. He also claimed that the BJP was the only party which could bring development in both the States.  INN
