Kamareddy, Feb 17 : Former minister Mohammad Ali Shabbir on Monday said that the new government of Telangana State would order a probe into all the files cleared by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy after the Centre announced the formation of Telangana State.
Speaking to media persons here, Shabbir Ali said that the Chief Minister was misusing his post by clearing the files as per his wishes. However, he said that a probe would be ordered into all the files cleared by Kiran Kumar Reddy after the announcement of Telangana. He ridiculed the rumours of the Chief Minister floating a new party and said that no leader had the stature to revolt against the Congress High Command.
Alleging that Seemnadhra leaders were using money power to fabricate agitation against Telangana formation, Shabbir Ali demanded a probe into the funding of Samaikhyandhra agitation. He said that the activists were made huge payments besides arranging food and accommodation by the Seemandhra leaders. He asked the Seemandhra leaders to disclose on their sources of funding agitation in New Delhi.
The former minister expressed confidence that the UPA Government would ensure passing of Telangana Bill in the Parliament. He also warned the BJP against betraying Telangana people by not supporting the Bill. He said that any attempt to sabotage the Telangana formation process would not be tolerated.
Earlier, Shabbir Ali along with SETWIN Chairman Maqsood Ali, launched new NAC courses and a SETWIN Centre in Kamareddy. He also distributed assets including sewing machines and other equipments among the candidates who passed out from the Centre on Monday. INN
