Infant baby girl body found at Shamshabad

Hyderabad, Feb 17 : The RGI Airport police found the dead body of an infant baby girl in cloth near at railway arch at Shamshabad Monday afternoon hours.

According to RGI Airport police, a 2 days old infant baby girl is suspected to have been dumped near Railway Arch of Shamshabad on Monday afternoon hours. Police registered a case under section 318 IPC, The body has been shifted to the Osmania Hospital mortuary for post-mortem. Further investigations are on. Sub Inspector Saidulu said.

Businessman body retrieve from lake

Hyderabad, Feb 17 : The Rajendranagar police fished out the body of 46-year-old man from Himayathsagar lake at Rajendranagar.

The deceased, identified as Vimal Kumar Jain, a Businessmen, R/o West Maredpally his body was retrieve from Himayath sagar lake on Monday morning hours. Police suspect that Vimal kumar committed suicide due to financial problems, The body was later shifted to the Osmania Hospital mortuary for post-mortem.

Harassment drives women to suicide

Hyderabad, Feb 17 : A 25-year-old house wife committed suicide set ablaze herself at her residence in Mujahid nagar of Tappachabutra.

According to Tappachabutra police, the deceased Salma Begum W/o Mohammed Javid a painter, committed suicide by pouring kerosene herself and set ablaze on Sunday night hours.

Salma Begum was allegedly being mentally and physically harassed by her husband Javid on petty issues for last few months, Salma married javid six years back and they had two childrens, deceased taking extreme step committed suicide set ablaze herself, immediately rushed to Osmania Hospital for treatment where doctors declared brought dead. Tappachabutra Police has been registered a case against javid and after autopsy deceased body handed over to her relatives, case is under investigation. Inspector Mohammed Riyaz said.

Task Force raid on Katriya hotel, 15 persons held

Hyderabad, Feb 17 : On the 16/17 Feb West Zone Team, Hyderabad received credible information that some persons are playing 3 cards gambling in the Room No.628, 6th Floor, Katriya Hotel, Somajiguda, Hyderabad, and using the premises as common gaming house.

The West Zone Task Force raided the said premises and found the following persons are playing 3 Cards gambling which is a game of chance.

1 Rahul Jain (25) S/o Prakash Jain, aged 25 yrs, Occ: Business, R/o Behind Maruthi Show Room, Himayath Nagar, Hyderabad and (14) others.

During the enquiry it came to light that, one of the accused person/organizer namely Rahul Jain confessed that he is doing business of selling of Second hand bikes at Ram Koti, Hyderabad but the income is not sufficient to meet his family expenses, he hatched a plan to organize gaming house by taking commission from the players and he took Room No.628, 6th floor, Katriya Hotel, Somajiguda, Hyderabad and collecting commission for each game from the players and earning money. In this Case seized net cash of Rs. 60,040, 15 cell phones and playing cards, Room booking receipts, one Xerox copy of voter ID card from the possession of accused persons.

The arrested accused persons along with seized material were handed over to the SHO, Panjagutta Police Station, Hyd for necessary action.

The raid was made under the supervision of Sri K.Ramchandran, Addl.Dy.Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, by Sri Y.Prakash Reddy, Inspector of Police with the assistance of SIs Sri. D.Jalender Reddy, Sri.M.Venkateshwar Goud, Sri.K.Srinivas and Staff of West Zone Team, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad. Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad K Ramchandran said.

Woman crushed by lorry after man pushes her on road

Hyderabad, Feb 17 : A woman was crushed to death under a lorry after a man allegedly pushed her away.

The incident happened on Sunday evening at Maheshwaram. According to police, the woman, Ketavat Devi, 40, went along with her relative Venkatesh, a farmer, to Maisigandi on his motorcycle on Sunday morning. While returning home in the evening, the duo stopped the motorcycle near Ashwin Hair Oil Company and were arguing over some issue. In a fit of rage, Venkatesh pushed Devi who fell on the road and consequently, came under the wheels of the lorry which was passing by. She died on the spot, Maheshwaram Inspector M. Gangadhar said.

On a complaint lodged by Ketavat’s husband Redya, a resident of Nagaram village, the police registered a case under section 304 (ii) against Venkatesh and began investigation.
