Ponguleti demands criminal case against Lagadapati

Hyderabad, Feb 14 : Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Friday demanded that the Central Government register a criminal case against Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal for the pepper spray incident in the Lok Sabha.

Speaking to media persons at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Ponguleti said that attempt to murder case should be booked against Lagadapati for his violent actions in the Lok Sabha on Thursday during tabling of Telangana Bill. He demanded that stern action should be taken against all Seemandhra MPs who resorted to violence in the House.

Ponguleti also accused the BJP and TDP of having a dual-stand on the Telangana issue. He said that the people of Telangana would teach a fitting lesson to the TDP, YSRCP and BJP for their anti-Telangana moves. He said that the TDP leaders have no moral right to criticise AICC President Sonia Gandhi on Telangana issue.  INN
