Azampura MBT corporator suffers minor injuries in attack

Hyderabad, Feb 14 : Azampura MBT Corporator Amjedullah Khan Khaled on Friday requested City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma to order a probe into physical attack on him last night.

In his complaint, Amjedullah Khan said that on Thursday night at about 10 PM he was attacked by some youth near City Centre in Banjara Hills due to he got injuries on my right eye, nose and jaw bone. They ran away on a two-wheeler when he tried to catch him.

“I immediately informed the Inspector of Police, Banjara Hills about the incident and as I was bleeding heavily I was taken to Star Hospital and treated for injuries,” he said.

Amjedullah Khan said that he has already given a written complaint in Police Station Banjara Hills. He requested the Commissioner to inquire into the incident as the said offence may be an attempt by phone snatcher or a pre-planned attack on him by his political opponents to stop him from his activities. He alleged that he was getting threatening calls since last two years for which he have written complaints to the police and have been informing him also from time to time.  INN
