Water supply to be affected on February 17th and 18th

Hyderabad, Feb 13 : The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board on Thursday informed that due to attending to the repairs of shutters at AMRP distributor No.10 & 11 near Kodandapur by the Irrigation Department, the raw water will be stopped for Krishna Phase-I & Phase-II for 24 hours from 09.00 AM on February 17th. In view of this, a shutdown is being taken up by HMWSSB during this period.

Therefore, there will be no water supply to the following areas on 17th and 18th February. The areas to be affected under Krishna Phase – I are: Saheb Nagar Reservoir areas, Santhosh Nagar area, Asmangadh New and Old Reservoir areas, Miralam Reservoir areas, Aliyabad Reservoir areas, Chanchalguda areas, Yakuthpura areas, Vaishali Nagar Reservoir areas, Malakpet, Moosarambagh, Narayanguda Resevoir areas, Boggulakunta Reservoir areas and Shivam, Adikmet, Chilkalguda Reservoir areas.

Similarly, the affected areas under Krishna Phase – II (RM-I) are: Saheb Nagar Reservoir areas, Balapur Reservoir areas, Mailardevpally, RajendraNagar, Hyderguda, Kishanbagh, Asifnagar, Prashashan Nagar Reservoir areas, Madhapur, Gachibowli and Part of Lingampally Reservoir areas.

Under Krishna Phase – II (RM-II), the affected areas will be: Ring Main II consisting of Marredpally Reservoir areas of West Marredpally, Sithaphalmandi, Bhoiguda, Rezimental Bazar and Tarnaka and Lalapet reservoir and control room areas of cantonment, MES & Railways, Moulali Reservoir areas, Nacharam, Ellugutta Reservoir areas, Sanikpuri reservoir, Kailashgiri reservoir and Chanakyapuri reservoir areas.

The HMWSSB has requested the customers to store drinking water in advance to avoid any inconvenience.  INN
