MA Khan thanks Cong, MIM for re-election

Hyderabad, Feb 8 : Congress Rajya Sabha member MA Khan on Saturday thanked the Congress High Command for re-nominating him and ensuring his victory for the Rajya Sabha seat from the State.

Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Khan said that his re-nomination was a proof that the Congress party had recognised his services for the society and party. He said he would continue to be loyal to the party and its leadership. He also thanked Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramchandra Rao for his support and encouragement.

Khan also thanked Congress and MIM legislators who voted for him in the Rajya Sabha polls held on Friday. He skipped questions related to the Telangana issue.  INN
