Hyderabad, Feb 7 : Government Chief Whip Gandra Venkataramana Reddy on Friday advised Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress Party leaders to restrain from creating further obstacles in the formation of Telangana State.
Speaking to media persons here, Gandra said that the rejection of petitions filed against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh by the Supreme Court was a slap on the face of TDP MLA P Keshav and other Seemandhra leaders who have been trying hard to stall the formation of Telangana. He said that instead of creating further obstacles, the Seemandhra leaders should focus on development of their region.
Gandra also condemned Chandrababu Naidu for meeting BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. He said that Naidu has been dreaming to return to power by allying with Modi. However, he said that both Naidu and Modi would be rejected by the people in the next elections. INN
