Chennai, Feb 6 : TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu called on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha at her residence here on Thursday.
Seeking her support to get equal justice for all the regions in the State, Naidu apprised Jayalalitha of the volatile situation prevailing in Andhra Pradesh. During his 45-minute meeting, Naidu requested Jayalalitha to oppose the attitude of Congress party in dealing with the bifurcation issue.
Speaking to media persons later, Naidu alleged the Congress was trying to derive political mileage out of the bifurcation issue. Alleging that the Congress was having a secret pact with the TRS and YSRCP on the Telangana issue, he blamed the ruling party for the political uncertainty in the State. He said when Andhra was separated from erstwhile Madras Province, people of both regions were happy. However, the Congress has sown the seeds of hatred between the two regions in case of Telangana.
Naidu was accompanied with senior leaders including Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Revuri Prakash Reddy and others. INN
