Prince Muffakham Jah releases World Big Book

Hyderabad, Feb 5 : Prince Muffakham Jha Bahadur, the grand son of the last Nizam of Hyderabad Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan Bahadur released the 21st century World Big Book authored by renowned Urdu Poet Yousuff Qadri at here on Wednesday. The function was presided over by Wajid Ali Kamil Advocate.

The author, Yousuff Qaudri, said that he had the honour of writing the World Big book, which is being published by the Space Urdu Academy of America. The book consisting of 11,111 pages would be printed in 11 volumes. So far, three volumes have been released. The first volume in Chicago, second in Jeddah KSA and the third volume has been released by Prince Muffakham Jah. He said that all the eleven volumes will be ready by end of this year and will be released in different countries.

Dr Akber Ali Khan, Treasurer, Sultan ul Uloom Educational Society, highlighted the services of the Asaf Jah family in promotion of education in Hyderabad and said that the first University to provide higher education in mother tongue Urdu was established by Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan in 1912 and other Universities in the country were set up later.

Rauf Khair and Dr. Muneeruz Zaman Muneer gave a brief profile of the author. Senior journalist Shoukat Ali Khan welcomed the gathering and proposed a vote of thanks.  INN
