Sunil Agarwal takes over as SCR’s Addl GM

Hyderabad, Feb 4 : Sunil Kumar Agarwal took charge as the Additional General Manager of South Central Railway here on Tuesday. He is also the Director, Public Grievance, South Central Railway. Before this posting, he served as Chief Operations Manager, South Central Railway, Secunderabad.

Agarwal studied BE (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and was awarded Gold Medal in the University. He belongs to the 1978 batch of Civil Services and joined the Indian Railways Traffic Service (IRTS).

During the course of his illustrious career, Agarwal has worked in various capacities in the Operations and Commercial departments in Western Railway and Central Railway, Mumbai. He also worked as Divisional Railway Manager, Nagpur Division on Central Railway from 2005 to 2007. He was Chief Commercial Manager in South East Central Railway, Bilaspur for two years.

He has done the prestigious International Course of National Defence College in New Delhi in 2004. He has widely travelled to Europe, Japan, Vietnam etc, on professional training and official visits. A Keen Sportsman, he has been a State Level player in Table Tennis and also plays golf.  INN
