Hyderabad, Jan 30 : The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board invoked the RR Act for the second time in its history by confiscating mobile assets for non-payment of dues from three defaulters under the jurisdiction of O&M Division.No.X, Saheb Nagar here on Thursday.
The occupants of the premises of Sri Laxmi Enclave, 14-66 & 14-66/1, P&T Colony, Dilsukhnagar with two CAN Nos. 024287740 & 024241964 have been served disconnection notices and Red Notice and also Form-I was issued for seizing assets but still the customers failed to pay the dues of Rs.3,02,790 & Rs.1,08,860 respectively. In an another instance, Raksha Multi-Speciality Hospital, Laxminagar, Saroornagar also failed to pay the dues of Rs.32,680.
Hence under RR Act, the moveable assets proportionate to the dues were seized In the presence of Sri. Azmeera Krishna, Chief General Manager (Engg.), Revenue Circle, Mohd. Ghulam Ahmed, General Manager(Engg.), O&M Division No.X, Saheb Nagar, and officials of Vigilance Wing, Task Force.
Totally about 216 Form-I notices were issued to the customers so far and similar action will be taken in all such cases.
