Hyderabad, Jan 29 : Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy reiterated the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill 2013 was full of flaws.
In an informal chat with reporters on Wednesday, the Chief Minister claimed that the Bill, in its present form, would not even be admitted in Parliament. He offered to quit politics if the Bill, which was sent to the Assembly for views, is even tabled in Parliament. When asked as to how President of India Pranab Mukherjee could refer an in-comprehensive Bill to the State Legislature, he said that the President does not scrutinise the Bill. He accused the Centre, especially the Ministry of Home Affairs and Law Ministry, of deceiving the President by sending an in-comprehensive Bill to him.
The Chief Minister also justified his request to the President seeking extension of deadline by three weeks to discuss the Bill in the Assembly. He said so far only 86 out of 280 MLAs spoke and expressed their views. INN
