Hyderabad, Jan 27 : Former minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy demanded that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy withdraw the notice that he had served to Speaker Nadendla Manohar seeking a resolution in the Assembly to reject the State Reorganisation Bill.
Speaking to media persons here on Monday, Komatireddy said that the Chief Minister should also apologise to the people of Telangana for serving the notice. He said that the Chief Minister’s notice has disturbed the discussion on Telangana Bill and immediate steps should be taken to resume the debate.
Referring to the speech made by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Telangana Bill in the Assembly, Komatireddy said that the TDP MLAs from the region should review their continuation with the party and take steps to prevent themselves from being called as the ‘betrayers’ of Telangana in future. INN
