Botsa hits out at rebels in RS polls

Hyderabad, Jan 26 : PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana on Sunday condemned the some leaders from his own party who were preparing to contest the Rajya Sabha elections as rebels.

Speaking to media persons here, Botsa said that some Seemandhra leaders were trying to take advantage of Telangana issue and preparing to contest the Rajya Sabha polls by defying the Congress High Command. He said that all leaders from the Seemandhra region were against the division of the State. However, a few of them were trying to exploit the situation by entering the fray in the name of Samaikhyandhra, he said.

Botsa also clarified that the Congress party would not ally with any other party in the ensuing Rajya Sabha elections. He expressed confidence that all the official candidates of Congress party would win the polls. INN
