Hyderabad, Jan 16 : In order to achieve the target of 350 services under Mee Seva, the Central Power Distribution Corporation has launched 11 new services in five districts.
The services of CPDCL – New Connection Domestic; New Connection General Purpose; Name Change; Load Change; Category Change; New Connection-6A Street Lights; New Connection-6B-Public Water Works; New Connection Commercial; New Connection Commercial Hoardings; New Connection Agriculture Services and New Connection Religious Places are now available for service through MeeSeva Kiosks in Anantapur, Medak, Mahaboobnagar, Kurnool and Nalgonda districts. People can avail these services in above five districts at their nearest MeeSeva Center.
“Government’s vision is to see that people living at the last mile of the State have enhanced standard of living and are able to uniformly avail the benefits of the schemes and programmes implemented by Government and this should happen transparently, seamlessly, instantly without any hassles. Certificates & Documents, offered through “Mee Seva” are, digitally signed, legally valid, and printed on secured stationery and delivered across the counter or through post,” the ITE&C Secretary said in a press release. The Mee Seva was launched by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy as pilot on November 4, 2011, with 12 services in Chittoor district.
Mee Seva is growing rapidly and phenomenally, creating a name and space for itself, not only in the state, but in the country itself. Today, this novel initiative offers citizens a bouquet of 233 online high volume services from 18 departments. However, the journey doesn’t end here. In its continuous pursuit of growth and excellence, Mee Seva is now at a juncture where it is all set to bring all the departments and services under its parasol, he said. INN
