Hyderabad, Jan 13 : The Telangana Rashtra Samithi on Monday strongly condemned the burning of draft Telangana Bill copies by the activists of APNGOs.
Speaking to media persons separately, TRS floor leader Etela Rajender and deputy leader T Harish Rao said that the burning of draft Bill copies was an attack on the Constitution of India. Harish Rao demanded that DGP B Prasada Rao file a suo moto case against those who burnt the copies. He said that when a suo moto case can be filed for speaking against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, then how the police could ignore those who disrespect the Constitution. He demanded that the Chief Minister, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy express their reactions over the incidents of burning of draft Telangana Bill.
Meanwhile, Etela said that the Telangana State would be a reality soon and no form of protest could prevent its formation. Further, he said the Telangana Bill has been sent to the Assembly only for views and voting could not be conducted for the same. INN
