RTC operates extra buses for Sankranti

Hyderabad, Jan 13 : The Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), Hyderabad Region, has operated over 4,000 buses in view of Sankranti festival.

Till Sunday, the RTC has operated as many as 4,640 buses. On Monday, 200 special buses were operated to various destinations and 100 more would be operated on Tuesday. The extra buses were operated in view of seizure of 70 private buses due to violation of rules. On Monday, as many as 11,815 seats were available in RTC buses. Similarly, a total of 24,539 seats would be available on Tuesday.

The important boarding points for RTC passengers are BHEL, Lingampally, KPHB, Jeedimetla, ECIL, Telephone Bhavan and LB Nagar. INN
