TRS leaders call on President over T-Bill

Hyderabad, Dec 22 : Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders on Sunday sought the intervention of President of India Pranab Mukherjee to ensure that there was no delay in the formation of Telangana State.

Nagarkurnool MP Manda Jagannadham and former minister G Vinod called on the President of India here and requested him to take measures to avoid delays in the Andhra Pradesh State Reorganisation Bill, 2013. The President reportedly told them the process of Telangana formation has been going on as per the Constitutional norms. Further, the President said he could not speak about the subject as he had already sent the Bill to the State Legislative Assembly for its views within a set time frame. INN
