Hyderabad, Dec 21 : Former minister JC Diwakar Reddy on Saturday gave indications that he might join the YSR Congress party, if the situation demands.
Speaking to media persons here, Diwakar Reddy said that he was willing to work with any political party to stop the division of Andhra Pradesh. He said that he was not against working along with YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the purpose. It may be mentioned that Diwakar Reddy had praised Jagan Mohan Reddy on earlier occasions too for his stand against Telangana formation.
Diwakar Reddy said that the Seemandhra legislators would defeat the Telangana Bill in the State Legislative Assembly. He also announced that a representation on keeping the State united would be given to President of India Pranab Mukherjee’s visit to Anantapur to participate in the birth anniversary celebrations of former President Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy.
