No case will go unregistered, assures AP Police

Hyderabad, Dec 17 : Additional DGP (Coordination) VK Singh on Monday said that the Andhra Pradesh Police have taken a host of measures to improve reception of people at police stations and redressal of their grievances.

Singh informed that lady receptionists have been stationed at all police stations barring a few naxalite affected districts. Strict orders have been issued to register all cognizable offences freely and behave with the people courteously. The DGP, B Prasad Rao, has taken strict action including suspension of deviant police officers and registration of criminal cases against corrupts officers the last week. Pending stolen/seized properties in the custody of police are being returned to the complainants through orders of the court.

The DGP has also ordered all these police responses to be monitored from police headquarters. If any person has any problem with regard to registration of case or a poor response from the police or any grievance which is not being attended to at district level he can address the DGP or personally meet Addl.DGP (Co-ordination) VK Singh at the DGP office, opposite Ravindra Bharati at Saifabad, Hyderabad, Ph. No.040-23212839, on any working days between 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
