Mobile application to check Voter ID details

Hyderabad, Dec 11 : A mobile application has been developed which is an SMS based search facility. Irrespective of the operating system in the mobile phone, a person can send SMS to the mobile number 9246280027 his / her EPIC Card no. i.e. Voter ID Card number in the format: Vote

After sending the Voter ID Card number through SMS, the voter will get reply SMS to his / her mobile number with the details of the Elector and Polling Station details.

Another android application for searching a person name in voter lists has been developed facilitating the people to check whether their names have already been enrolled in Voter Lists. The new mobile app. can be downloaded from www.ceoandhra.nic.in web site and installed in any Smart Mobile Phone with Android Operating System.
