One killed while crossing railway tracks

Hyderabad, Dec 7 : An unidentified man of about 50 years died on the spot after he was hit by a train while trying to cross the tracks.

The accident occurred on the tracks near Bharathnagar on Friday morning. The Nampally Railway Police preserved the body at the Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy and identification.

Three commits suicide for different reasons

Hyderabad, Dec 7 : In separate cases, three persons committed suicide due to different reasons.

In Kandukur police limits, 35-year-old agriculturist V Jangaiah committed suicide by consumed unknown poison at his residence in Manyaguda of Kandukur in Ranga Reddy district. He took the extreme step on Friday night and was immediately shifted to Osmania General Hospital for treatment where he died on Saturday morning.

According to police, Jangaiah took the the extreme step due to the stomach pain he was suffering from for last one year.

In another case, 25-year-old House Wife Renuka Abhinaya, died of burn injuries which she suffered after setting herself ablaze at her residence in Ibrahim Bagh of Golconda on December 4. She was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where she died on Dec 6.

According to Golconda sub-inspector Jagdishwar Rao, Renuka had argument with her husband Venkatesh over mobile phone that taken by his relative. Upset with her husband’s argument, she resorted to the extreme step.

In a separate case, 30-year-old P Pentamma committed suicide by setting ablaze at her residence in Shankarampet. She resorted to the extreme step on December 4. She was admitted to the Gandhi Hospital for treatment where she died in the early hours of Saturday.

Two housewives succumb to burn injuries

Hyderabad, Dec 7 : A 25-year-old woman died of burn injuries which she suffered when her clothes caught fire while trying to start a gas cylinder.

According to Sanathnagar police, the incident occurred on December 4 when the deceased, D Manjula, suffered burn injuries at her residence in Fatehnagar. She was admitted to Gandhi Hospital where she died on Friday night.

In a similar case, 49-year-old P Sridevi died of burn injuries which she suffered while cooking food at her residence in Tirumulgherry on December 4. She was admitted to Gandhi Hospital where she succumbed in the early hours of Saturday.
