Hyderabad, Dec 5 : State Minister and Seemandhra Legislators Forum Convener S Sailajanath on Thursday said that the Congress leaders from his region would continue to fight for the united Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to media persons at the Secretariat Media Point, Sailajanath said that although he hails from Anantapur, but he was against the proposal of Rayala Telanana. He said that solution to the problems being faced by the people of all three regions lies in united Andhra Pradesh. Therefore, he said he would oppose the Telangana Bill in the State Legislative Assembly and would present a detailed report on the consequences for the entire State, if Andhra Pradesh is divided.
Sailajnath also expressed regret that some leaders who were supporting Samaikhyandhra were now speaking in favour of Rayala Telangana.
Addressing a separate conference, senior Congress leader Gade Venkat Reddy said that he would fight for Samaikhyandhra till his last breath and he will never change his stand. INN
