Secretariat Employees warn Centre against Rayala Telangana

Hyderabad, Dec 4 : The Secretariat Telangana Employees Union on Wednesday warned the Centre against accepting the proposal of Rayala Telangana.

Speaking to media persons here, Union president Narender Rao accused the Congress party of playing with the sentiments of Telangana people again. He also described the Rayala Telangana proposal as a trick played by the Seemandhra leaders to sabotage the Telangana formation process. He said that the Congress leaders from the region should pressurise their High Command to form Telangana State, as promised in the Congress Working Committee resolution. He said that the people of the region would not accept the Rayala Telangana under any circumstances.

Narender Rao also announced support for the TRS ‘Telangana Bandh’ on December 5 and said that the Secretariat Telangana Employees Union would meet on December 6 to decide its future strategy.

Earlier, the Telangana employees took out a protest rally from the Secretariat Main Gate to ‘C’ Block in the Secretariat premises. INN
