Jeevan Reddy slams GoM over Rayala Telangana move

Hyderabad, Dec 3 : Former Minister T Jeevan Reddy on Tuesday condemned the proposed modification by way of formation of Rayala-Telangana in place of Telangana.

Speaking to media persons here, Jeevan Reddy said that the formation of Rayala Telangana would create several legal complications under Article 371 (D). He said that the proposal was a conspiracy by Seemandhra leaders to stop the ongoing process of Telangana formation. He said that the Group of Ministers (GoM) was violating its Terms of Reference by discussing the Rayala Telangana. He said that the GoM should stick to the Congress Working Committee (CWC) resolution which later got the nod of the Union Cabinet.

Jeevan Reddy said that Rayala Telangana would be an insult to the martyrs of Telangana. INN
