Byreddy calls on State BJP chief against T-formation

Hyderabad, Dec 1 : Rayalaseema Hakkula Parirakshana Vedika chairman Byreddy Rajasekahra Reddy has sought the support of Bharatiya Janata Party in preventing the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to media persons after meeting BJP State President G Kishan Reddy at BJP Headquarters in Nampally here on Sunday, Byreddy said that the State should remain united. He said that the fact could not be denied that more than one thousand youth committed suicide for the cause of statehood for Telangana region. However, he said that the division of State was not in the interest of the State.

Byreddy also ridiculed the demand for Rayala-Telangana and described it as an attempt to insult people of Rayalaseema region. He said such a move would finish the identity of Rayalaseema region. He said that if the division of State was inevitable, then the Centre should trifurcate the State into Telangana, Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra. INN
