Hyderabad, Sept 17 : Information and Public Relations Minister DK Aruna ridiculed the statement of TDP leader K Sivaprasad wherein he claimed that Congress president Sonia Gandhi fell ill due to the curse of Seemandhra people for her decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh.
Talking to reporters at her residence here on Tuesday, Aruna said that the illness of Sonia Gandhi and other Congress leaders was due to medical factors and not due to other superstitious reasons. She demanded that Sivaprasad withdraw his statement and apologise for the same.
Aruna said that no leader from Seemandhra region including Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy could change the decision of the Congress High Command on formation of Telangana State. INN
