TPJAC demands Union Cabinet’s resolution on Telangana

Hyderabad, August 14 : Telangana Political Joint Action Committee Chairman Prof M Kondandaram on Wednesday demanded that the Union Cabinet should endorse the decision taken by the UPA Coordination Committee and Congress Working Committee to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh to create Telangana State.

Talking to reporters here, Kondadaram said that the Union Cabinet should pass a resolution at the earliest in order to hasten up the process of formation of Telangana State. He said that the Centre must not delay the process again which could complicate the situation in both Telangana and Seemandhra regions.

Kondandaram said that Telangana people have no animosity or hatred towards the people of Seemandhra region. He sought the cooperation of Seemandhra people and its leaders in formation of Telangana. He also slammed some Seemandhra leaders for their efforts to stall the Telangana formation. INN
