Hyderabad, August 12 : Government Chief Whip Gandra Venkatramana Reddy on Monday asked TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu to clarify the meeting of a few TDP leaders with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Gandra said that TDP leader Kamalakar was suspended from the party after he met TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao. He asked whether similar action would be taken against Balakrishna as he met Modi during his visit to the city on Sunday. Else, Naidu should clarify whether he was seeking to forge an alliance with the BJP through Balakrishna and other leaders who Modi on Sunday.
Gandra also slammed Modi for his remarks against the Congress Government during his speech at a public meeting at LB Stadium on Sunday. INN
