Hyderabad, Aug 5 : State BJP president G Kishan Reddy on Monday alleged that the Congress High Command was behind the on-going agitations in Seemandhra region.
Talking to reporters here, Kishan Reddy said that Congress president Sonia Gandhi was encouraging unrest in both Telangana and Seemandhra region as she was still not sincere towards giving statehood to Telangana region. He also accused Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh of having failed to take his cabinet colleagues into confidence over Telangana issue. He said that the present agitation in Seemandhra was the result of failure of both Central and State Governments. He demanded that the Centre table Telangana Bill in the Parliament in the monsoon session of Parliament.
