However, Warangal MP S Rajaiah appears to have changed his mind and might not quit the Congress party.
In a day of hectic political development, TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao along with his son and Sircilla MLA K Taraka Rama Rao called on Peddapalli MP Vivek at latter’s residence. They reportedly re-assured Vivek that the MPs and other leaders joining the TRS he would be among the frontline leaders in the party. They were accompanied with former PCC president K Keshava Rao, who is also set to join the TRS.
In related developments, Medchal MLA K Lakshma Reddy met Vivek at latter’s residence and tried in vain to convince him not to leave the Congress party. Meanwhile, Keshava Rao also called on Panchayat Raj Minister K Jana Reddy. However, what transpired between the two was not known.
