Hyderabad, May 27 : The second phase of budget session of Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly is likely to begin from June 10.
According to sources, the second phase of Assembly session will complete the remaining tasks related with State budget for the financial year 2013-14. The first leg of budget session was held from March 13 to 26th.
Meanwhile, sources indicated that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy might go for a reshuffle or expansion of his cabinet by June 8. While the vacancies created due to the resignations of Mopidevi Venkataramana, P Sabitha Indira Reddy and B Dharmana Prasad Rao would be filled; a few ministers might be dropped to be replaced by new faces. Senior leaders including JC Diwakar Reddy, Peer Shabbir Ahmed or Farooq Hussain and Chief Whip Gandra Venkataramana Reddy might be inducted into the cabinet before the Assembly’s session.
The opposition parties will primarily target the government on the issue of tainted ministers.
The next session will also witness the presence of Leader of the Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu who skipped earlier two sessions due to his padayatra Vastunna Mee Kosam. He did not participate in the special session convened to pass the SC, ST Sub-Plan Bill and the first phase of budget session which also witnessed a No Confidence Motion moved by the YSR Congress party and Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
