CM condemns Maoists’ attack in Chattisgarh

Hyderabad, May 26 : Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy expressed shock and anguish and vehemently condemned the brutal attack by Maoists on Congress leaders in Chattisgarh on Saturday.

“In a democracy it is heinous and inhuman to attack innocent people and leaders who are working for the welfare of the people. The barbaric act has to be condemned by one and all,” the Chief Minister said in a statement.

The Chief Minister said in a civilized society there is no scope for violence. He appealed to one and all to condemn this incident irrespective of party affiliations. He expressed grief and extended heartfelt condolences to the family members of the Chattisgarh PCC Chief and others who lost their lives. He wished speedy recovery of the injured and expressed sorrow and sympathies to the bereaved families. INN
