Cong leaders call on Shankar Rao

Hyderabad, February 7 : A host of Congress leaders today called on Dr P Shankar Rao at a corporate hospital, where he is recuperating.

Prominent among those who called on him include, minister K Jana Reddy, MP Vivek former minister Peddireddy Ramchandra Reddy and enquired about his health.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had earlier ordered an inquiry into the way in which police allegedly manhandled him while taking him into custody for questioning.

Meanwhile, Dr Shankar Rao’s daughter filed a case against Chief Minister and DGP for conspiring to harass her father as he has exposed some corruption charges of N Kiran Kumar Reddy. INN
