Hyderabad, February 7 : The Lakdikapul Road Over Bridge will be finally inaugurated by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Friday.
The bridge, constructed at cost of Rs 24.75 crore, is likely to ease the traffic between Lakdikapul and Masab Tank and Khairtabad. The work of design and construction of approaches for the proposed expansion of the ROB adjacent to existing bridge over railway lines at Lakdikapool was administratively sanctioned on June 2, 2011. Having faced several legal complications over the acquisition of properties, the construction was delayed by a few months and later its inauguration too was postponed more than twice.
The Chief Minister will inaugurate the RoB on Friday at 11 AM which would decongest the traffic moving towards Masab tank and Khairtabad. GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain will preside over the inaugural event.
Kiran Kumar Reddy will also inaugurate the Mahatma Gandhi Markfed Bhavan at Jambagh and ACB Headquarters building at MLAs Colony, Road No 12, Banjara Hills. INN
