Hyderabad, Nov 2 : The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation will organise the Job Mela of Central Zone on November 19th and 20th at Banjara Function Palace at Banjara Hills.
GHMC Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussain on Friday held a meeting with the senior officials to review the arrangements for Job Mela. He said that the first job mela conducted in the month of June this year got tremendous response and most of the people have secured the jobs. The GHMC is striving hard to give more opportunities to the unemployed youth to get the jobs from the top most corporate sectors, he said.
The Mayor also informed that the GHMC officials were coordinating with the corporate offices and business managements to come forward to participate in the job mela for providing the jobs to the unemployed youth. Nearly 70 to 100 top most companies are likely to participate. He requested the students and other aspirants to avail this opportunity and also to attend the training classes for interviews to secure the jobs.
Majid Hussain directed the officials of the GHMC to take up the works pertaining to job mela as was done in the past. He also directed to make necessary arrangements like water, seating arrangements to the parents, providing generator, arrangements of blocks where the students are being interviewed in a systematic manner without giving any scope for inconvenience to the students and as well as the parents who are attending the job mela.
Co-Option Member Ayesha Rubina, Central Zone Commissioner Ronald Ross, Additional Commissioner (UCD) CN Raghu Prasad, Deputy Commissioners AV Ramani, Gopala Krishna Reddy, MSS Somaraju, T Sakala Reddy and senior officials participated in the meeting.
