New Delhi, October 17: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had a detailed meeting with Union Health Minister and Incharge State Congress Affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad here on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister, who reached the National Capital in the early morning on Wednesday, reportedly discussed the prevailing political situation in the State. He recommended some names of Congress MPs for consideration for inclusion in the proposed expansion and reshuffle of Union Cabinet. He also discussed the issue of filling nominated posts in the State.
The Chief Minister also met Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and briefed him about the latest situation in the State. The duo reportedly discussed the impact of Telangana March.
Kiran Kumar Reddy also brief Azad on how he handled Telangana March and the political situation that arised after the event.
During his visit, the Chief Minister also had a brief meeting with AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi amid reports of latter’s possible inclusion in the Union Cabinet.
The Chief Minister is also scheduled to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Defense Minister AK Antony and Finance Minister P Chidambaram during his Delhi visit.
