Hyderabad, Sept 12 (INN): TRS on Monday termed the Congress opposition to irrigation projects undertaken by the state government as a mere drama and alleged that the party was trying to stall the state’s development.
Speaking to media persons at New Delhi, party MPs B. Vinod Kumar and B. Suman lashed out at the Congress saying that the party was finding hard to gain its lost ground in the state. The party leaders said that the Congress was unable to digest the fact that the TRS government was working for the welfare of every section of the society and hence were making every effort to defame the government by spreading lies.
The TRS MPs questioned as to why were the Congress leaders remained silent when the water meant for Telangana was diverted to AP in the previous governments. The people of the state were aware of the facts and would teach the Congress a lesson for spearheading a malicious propaganda against the pro-poor and pro-farmer TRS government. (INN)
