Ramnasthapura slaughter house to become functional by weekend

Hyderabad, June 23 : GHMC Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussain directed the Engineer-in-chief R Dhan Singh to start functioning of the Ramnasthpura slaughter house by this weekend since the inauguration has already been done a few months back.

The Mayor along with the Engineer-in-Chief, Chief Veterinary Officer Venkateshwar Reddy and other senior officials from the Health and Veterinary Wings inspected the trial run at Ramnasthpura slaughter house on Monday and directed the Chief Veterinary officer to speed up the work and further directed the Contractors to handover the slaughter house within three days.

Majid Hussain expressed unhappiness over the working style of the contractors at Amberpet slaughter house. On Mayor’s direction, the contractors assured that he slaughter house would be ready by July 15. He asked officials to ensure that the Amberpet and Bhoiguda slaughter houses become operational within two months.  INN
