Komatireddy revolts against Ponnala, boycotts CLP meeting

Hyderabad, June 11 : Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Wednesday boycotted the Telangana Congress Legislature Party meeting while raising a banner of revolt against TPCC President Ponnala Lakshmaiah.

While all 21 MLAs and 19 MLCs of the Telangana Congress took part in the meeting, Komatireddy walked out of the meeting and blamed Ponnala and other leaders for the party’s debacle in the recent elections. He said it was shameful that the meeting of elected legislators was being chaired by a person who himself lost the elections. He accused Ponnala and a few other leaders of being selfish which led to party’s defeat. He expressed regret that Ponnala neither introspected the reasons for party’s failure nor he offered his resignation.  INN
