Telangana Assembly session from June 9?

Hyderabad, May 30 : The first session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly is likely to be convened from June 9.

TRS senior leader Etela Rajender on Friday met the officials of Legislative Assembly to discuss the issue of convening the first session. According to sources, although the exact date for the first session is yet to be finalised, it might be held from June 9 to 12th. The week-long first session will be customary in nature wherein the new members will be administered oath of office and secrecy. The new Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Telangana Assembly will also be elected in the first session. The first session might also have address by Governor ESL Narasimhan.  INN
