Gutha slams Naidu’s renewed friendship with BJP

Hyderabad, Dec 15 : Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy on Sunday alleged that TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu was going closer to the Bharatiya Janata Party to sabotage the process of Telangana formation.

Speaking to media persons here, Sukhender Reddy said that Naidu’s proximity with the BJP raises serious doubts over his secular credentials. He said that Naidu and also the YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy were joining hands with the BJP to stall the Telangana Bill in the Parliament. He described both the leaders as opportunists.

The Congress MP said that Naidu has repeatedly claimed that he would never ally with the BJP again. However, his sharing of dais with the BJP leaders clearly indicates that the TDP chief has gone back on his words. However, he said that Naidu’s renewed friendship with the BJP would not prevent the formation of Telangana and the Congress party would convert the dream of Telangana State into a reality in the next few weeks.
