One killed in Train Accident

Hyderabad, Dec 11 : A 35-year-old man died after he was trying to cross the track between Nature cure and Fatehnagar stations on Dec 10 night hours.

The accident occurred on Tuesday. The Nampally Railway police later identified the deceased as B Srinivas, an Office Boy and resident of Gandhinagar of Jagatgirigutta.

Degree student booked for raping teenager

Hyderabad, Dec 11 : The Hayathnagar police on Wednesday registered a case against a youth who raped a teenager on many occasions on the pretext of marrying her.

In her complaint, the 16-year-old victim alleged that the accused Prashant, a degree student, developed physical relationship with her by promising that he would marry her. However, later he avoided her.

Based on the complaint, the Hayathnagar police booked a case of rape against Prashant and launched a manhunt to nab him, Inspector G Srinivas Kumar said.

Water works employee found murdered

Hyderabad, Dec 11 : A 32-year-old man was brutally murdered by some unidentified person in the Rajendranagar police limits.

According to police, the body of P Karthik, a contract employee of HMWS&SB and resident of Hyderguda of Rajendranagar, was found near the community hall in the locality by some passers on Wednesday morning. There several marks of injuries on his body.

The family members alleged that he might have been killed by some unidentified persons as his body bore a head injury leading to suspicion of murder.

Inspector Ch Kushalkar registered a murder case under Section 302 IPC and began investigations.

Woman labourer falls from building, dies

Hyderabad, Dec 11 : A 40-year-old woman labourer died after falling down from the second floor at Xeno Pearls Apartments in Majeed Banda in Madhapur police limits.

According to police, the deceased, K Parvathy, accidentally fell down on Tuesday evening. She died on the spot. She was a resident of Karmika Nagar of Borabanda. Police registered a case under Section 174 CRPC and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for postmortem.

Three killed in different road accidents

Hyderabad, Dec 11 : A 25-year old Software Engineer killed in road accident at Tuesday evening in S R Nagar police limits.

On Tuesday Dec 10 morning hours one person was killed when a unknown vehicle hit while he was going on his bike. The deceased was identified as M Anil Kumar (25) resident of Gachibowli hostel native of orissa, the accident occurred on Tuesday morning when Anil kumar going to his duties on motorcycle when he was reached near Ameerpet cross road, suddenly one unknown vehicle came rash and negligent manner and dashed to the deceased bike due to which anil sustained severe injuries immediately shifted to nearest private hospital where he died on evening hours. S R police registered a case.

In another case, A 55-year-old Rickshaw Pullar died on undergoing treatment when the he was riding a rickshaw a speeding Tata Ace vehicle hit in Bahadurpura police limits.

According to police, the accident occurred on Tuesday night hours near bahadurpura road immediately shifted to Osmania General hospital for treatment where deceased was died on Dec 11 after noon hours. The deceased was later identified as Basheeruddin, a resident of kishanbagh. A case has been registered against Tata Ace driver. Bahadurpura police said.

In another case, A 60-year-old Retired RTC Conductor died on undergoing treatment when the he was crossing the road a speeding motor cycle hit in Petbasheerabad police limits.

According to police, the accident occurred on Tuesday near Petbasheerabad cross road. The deceased was later identified as G Sudarshan, a resident of Jeedimetla. A case has been registered against the motor cycle rider. Petbasheerabad police said.

Dowry harassment drives pregnant women to suicide

Hyderabad, Dec 11 : A 21-year old pregnant women committed suicide allegedly hanging due to the harassment for additional dowry on Dec 10.

According to the Ghatkesar police, Deceased P Swapna had allegedly hanging at her residence in Pocharam of Ghatkesar, allegedly due to the harassment for additional dowry by her husband Venkanna. She took the extreme step on December 10 late night hours, Swapna was married to Venkanna on April 17, 2012. Police registered a case under section 304B and began investigations.
