All set for T-Bill in Parliament’s winter session: Dy CM

New Delhi, Nov 30 : Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha on Saturday asserted that the Telangana Bill would be introduced in the ensuing winter session of the Parliament.

Speaking to media persons after meeting Jairam Ramesh here, Rajanarasimha said that he discussed several issues including packages for backward areas during his interaction with the Union Minister. He said that the issues of status of Bhadrachalam and Polavaram Project were also discussed. He said several issues pertaining to the division of Andhra Pradesh were discussed during the meeting.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Telangana Bill would be introduced in the next session of Parliament beginning from December 5. He expressed confidence that the Bill would be passed in the Parliament and Telangana State would be a reality soon. INN
