Etala accuses CM of cheating people of both regions

Hyderabad, Nov 21 : Telangana Rashtra Samithi floor leader Etala Rajender on Thursday accused Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of cheating the people of both Telangana Rayalaseema regions.

Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises, Etala said that Kiran Kumar Reddy made a factually incorrect representation before the Group of Ministers (GoM) to stop the process of Telangana formation. He said that the Chief Minister has been repeating lies with an intention of making them appear like truth.

Etala also disputed the claims that people from Seemandhra people were responsible for the development of Hyderabad. He said that the city’s infrastructure was built during the Nizam’s rule and successive governments of Andhra Pradesh failed to maintain the same. Citing projects like Lanco Hills, Imax and others, he said people from Seemandhra region earned crores of rupees from Hyderabad and re-invested the same to multiply their assets. He said no investments were brought from Seemandhra region, but the entire wealth was earned in Hyderabad itself. INN
