The incident happened in Tappachabutra on Saturday evening. According to inspector Mohammad Riyazuddin, the accused, Kamini Singh, threw acid on her sister-in-law Kanyawathi and another relative Seema Bai. The victim, Kanyawathi was involved in a dispute over some ancestral property with her brother and Kamini’s husband Govind Singh. However, Kamini entered into an argument with Kanyawati over the issue of electricity bill and threw toilet acid. Since the solution was diluted, the women washed if off immediately.

Police registered a case against Kamini and her husband Govind Singh. Further investigations are one. INN
